Nestled on 50 acres of pollinator-friendly land in rural Maryland, BayBees Honey is more than a name—it’s a promise...
At BayBees Honey, we believe in purposeful beekeeping. Located in Whaleyville, Maryland, our apiary spans 50 acres of pollinator-friendly land dedicated to honeybee preservation, education, and sustainable stewardship.
We provide raw, local honey harvested with care, hive rentals for growers and homesteaders, and hands-on learning experiences for individuals, schools and communities.
To protect honeybees and native pollinators through ethical practices, community outreach, and land conservation. We’re proud to be part of Maryland’s agricultural heritage and honored to carry the “Maryland’s Best” designation.
Our hives are located throughout the Eastern Shore—including Salisbury, Berlin, Ocean Pines, and Ocean City—bringing truly local honey to your table.
Honeybees are considered livestock by the USDA, but they’re also vital to our ecosystem. Through education and responsible management, we help others become ethical stewards of these incredible creatures. As we like to say around here-
